We're conveniently located, making it easy for fans and visitors to reach us, no matter their preferred mode of transport.

Northern Bypass’s ability to handle large numbers of fans makes it our recommended gateway for those travelling to and from Mandela National Stadium. From here, a combination of stewards, directional signage and strategic road closures will see you to and from the ground quickly and safely.

Ticket sales

There will be no ticket sales at the Stadium on match day. Please secure your tickets at least three days prior to each match.

Directions

By Train

For a stress-free journey, especially on busy match days, consider taking the train from Kampala Railway Station directly to Namboole. The train service offers a convenient and efficient way to reach the stadium, minimizing travel time and avoiding traffic congestion.

By Car & Motorbike

If you're driving from Kampala or the surrounding areas, the most efficient route is via the Northern Bypass. Simply take the Kireka exit and follow the clear signage towards Namboole. The stadium is a prominent landmark, so you won't miss it!
Important: To ensure a smooth entry, be sure to check your ticket for the designated gate ( Southern, Western, Northern, or Eastern) and use the corresponding entrance.

By Boda-Boda or Taxi

Boda-bodas (motorcycle taxis) and taxis are readily available throughout Kampala and can provide a quick and direct route to the stadium. Just be sure to agree on a fare with the driver beforehand.

Parking

If you plan to drive yourself, please reserve your parking space in advance. Parking at the stadium is limited, and pre-booking guarantees you a spot, ensuring a hassle-free arrival experience.

We look forward to welcoming you to Mandela National Stadium!
